    Give People Their Roses

Over the weekend I had the pleasure of celebrating my good friend Kaelan’s birthday. Our friend Jared was able to put together a surprise birthday party for Kaelan that went on without flaws. Kaelan works hard and has the biggest heart. One thing that’s important to know about my friend Kaelan is he is the strong friend, the friend that goes above and beyond for everyone. Stop and Smell the Roses

Hello loves! I’m back after so much needed rest. So much has happened over the last month; I graduated with my Masters, accepted a new job position, got the interior designs of my book back, celebrated my birthday, to sum it up God has been good to me. Once I came down from the high of all these wonderful changes I decided I wanted to take a break and just enjoy life.  I took a moment to stop and smell the roses. Every day for the past five months, while in my Graduate program, I realized I came home and continued to do work. Lesson planning, grading papers, a homework assignment, research…

    Mind Over Matter

This is the year I’m working hard on developing my whole self; especially my spiritual self. One thing I participated in that I usually am inconsistent with is Lent. This year for Lent I gave up drinking alcohol.I choose to give up alcohol because I knew that this was something I indulged in on a consistent basis; I wanted to truly cleanse myself. I started my journey a tad before lent on February 11th and I went approximately 46 days without a drop of alcohol;.This mornings story involves the power of the mind. Whatever you’re working towards be it a personal goal, a professional goal it’s all mind over matter. “For forty days, being tempted…
